Sanjeewa<\/h3>\r\n        <p>Having worked as an investigative journalist since 2004 across several Sri Lankan newspapers including <em>Ravaya, Anidda,<\/em> and <em>Rathu Ira<\/em>, K. Sanjeewa served as the Features Editor of the <em>Ravaya<\/em> newspaper from 2016 to 2017, and as the founding Features Editor of the <em>Anidda<\/em> newspaper from 2017 to 2020.<\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>He has also served as the News Editor for the <em>Rathu Ira<\/em> Sunday newspaper.<\/p>\r\n\r\n        <div class=\"en-highlight-box\">\r\n          <p><strong>Awards & Recognition:<\/strong> A member of the Ravaya editorial board since 2013, K. Sanjeewa won the prestigious <strong>Mervyn de Silva Award for Journalist of the Year<\/strong> at the Journalism Awards for Excellence for four consecutive years (2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017). He was also recognized with a merit award in 2024.<\/p>\r\n        <\/div>\r\n\r\n        <p>Alongside his journalism career, he is a documentary filmmaker, author, and social activist. <em>'And Then They Came for Me'<\/em> is his latest documentary, completed in 2025, which explores the life and assassination of The Sunday Leader Editor Lasantha Wickrematunge.<\/p>\r\n\r\n        <p>The <strong>knews.lk<\/strong> website operates under his leadership as Chief Editor.<\/p>\r\n\r\n        <br>\r\n        <p>Investigative journalism, rooted in traditional newspaper culture, is a field that requires immense time and resources.
